Science Peer Academic Coaches

What is SPAC?

The Science Peer Academic Coaches program provides workshops and projects in the interest of fulfilling our motto of “Students Helping Students”. SPAC connects and experienced student coach with a student peer to examine personal strengths and challenges in their academic career.  The coach is a mentor for the student, providing support and referrals to resources. SPAC Team events include CLASS (Conference for Learning and Academic Student Success); and the now famous Deal with December Now Exam prep workshop for Science Students.

Who We Are:

Science Peer Academic Coaches are students who want to make a difference for their peers in Science. Some have struggled with their own academics and have now learned techniques and strategies to make them successful students. Others were born with the natural gift of time management and study skills (saay what??). Each one has their own unique story to tell, but all of them have a passionate commitment to helping other students succeed academically.
