SCI Team

What is SCI Team?

The SCI Team is a student development group promoting leadership, academic, career and science-related events and programs for science students. This peer group consists of about 20 science students who work closely with the Faculty of Science and the UBC Student Development Office to identify the needs that science students have and then try to create the events and programs that address them and enhance the science student experience. The SCI Team events and programs not only provide in-depth information on such topics as undergraduate research and leadership development, but they also attempt to develop knowledge through interactive experiences.

Who we are:

SCI Team students have always been students who want to contribute to the overall experience in the Faculty of Science. They like working with a team of students, and have a keen interest in planning and running events of all sizes. The team was started by a group of students wanting to make a difference, and they continue to provide amazing programs and events for their peers.
