What it is:
UBC Career Services is the place where students, alumni and employers get together to help students navigate their career development. We host advising, events, workshops and guest speakers to help students understand and explore their career options.
Who We Are:
Career Peer Educators are important members of the UBC Career Services team. They work closely with Career Services staff to develop and deliver programming for the diverse population of students on campus. These volunteers share their resume and cover letter expertise with fellow students, helping them to navigate the job application process. Career Peers provide weekly resume advising at the UBC Career Services office, deliver workshops and participate in events.
Our goal is to make career development relevant and accessible to all UBC students.
What We Do:
- Learn best practices about writing cover letters and resumes, while developing advising and feedback skills.
- Provide one-on-one assistance to students on resume and cover letter best practices.
- Participate and assist with workshops and special events.
Event Listings:
